Thermaltake Launches Element V - Sensibly Priced E-ATX

Thermaltake, a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of chassis, power supplies and cooling solutions has announced the UK launch of Element V – its latest full-sized, E-ATX, enthusiast-class tower chassis – with supreme air-cooling capabilities.

As next-generation CPUs and GPUs demand more power than ever before, so Thermaltake has responded to market demand for an affordable, low-noise, full-tower solution with excellent air-flow and ‘easy modding’ capability.

Standing a full 30cm taller than the multi-award Thermaltake winning Element S, the Element V gives demanding users control over strategically placed, low-noise fans – making the Element V a perfect choice for systems with either CrossFire or SLi capability.

J.J.Jan, Thermaltake’s Global VP for Sales, explained the Thermaltake’s engineering ethos with the Element V chassis, “The latest graphic cards can draw over 200w each and that places a significant strain on the thermal design of any chassis. Element V uses an array of fans to ensure optimal airflow across the hottest surfaces of the components within your system”.

“Not only has our engineering team delivered a technically advanced product in the Element V, they have also managed to do this at a very competitive price point”, said Jan.

“The addition of multiple Colorshift fans with an average noise level rating of around 14 dBA, means that users can adjust not only airflow – but the colour effect of their system as well, which is perfect for LAN events. Similarly, we have added security mechanisms for the gamer’s mouse and keyboard”.

Asked about any ‘highly unusual’ features, Jan smiled and said “Don’t forget the optional, integrated drinks system – to ensure gamers have their ‘juice to hand’ in the heat of battle!”.

Thermaltake will be announcing channel partners for the new Element V chassis later this week and street pricing is expected to be just over £100 ex vat.

Nice picture is nice:

I have an Element T here and it's a decent case. Some faults but not that bad. First it was like 75 euro which was too much, but now you can get one for 55 euro. It would get a value award if it was that price in the beginning.
