This board looks incredibly wicked!

Anyone with experience/opinions? I actually saw one and held it in my hands a couple days ago.

Maximum PC said they were loud. But for people doing watercooling it looks like a good idea.

I wouldn't go for it myself (never really liked Gigabyte boards) but the idea is cool and it looks like a decent enough board

it is nice but i think the asus p5wd2-e premium has more features.

i think the same.
i've never seen a real board, but looks like the thing will probably gets all dirty fast and hard to clean.

there are still a few good desktop boards that are using Intel 975X express chipset and ICH7R...

and what about the Asus P5WDG2-WS?

both boards the GA-G1975X and P5WDG2-WS have multi-GPU supports, same amount of the expansion slots, and about the same system memory supports.

but the P5WDG2-WS has dual Gb LAN with WiFi AP module as an option, has more onboard/onchip SATA storage options,
while the GA-G1975X has more P-ATA (IDE) storage options, a better onboard audio system and the unique Gigabyte's Turbojet.
